Dominion: Cornucopia & Guilds Expansion - 2nd Edition
Rio Grande Games: Dominion Cornucopia & Guilds 2nd Edition - Expansion Deck Board Game, Time of Harvest, Ages 14+, 2-4 Players, 30 Minutes
- Rio Grande Games: Dominion Cornucopia & Guilds - Autumn It seemed like summer would never end, but this fortune teller was right. It's over. Autumn, the time of harvest. Agriculture has progressed considerably in recent years, since the discovery of the maxim "leaves of three, let it be." Autumn, a time of celebration. The farmers have spent a hard week in the fields, but tonight the festivities begin, starting with a sumptuous banquet of roast hay. Then the annual nose stolen competition. Then two fools, one who always lies, one who always tells the truth, both hilarious. Then they fight to the death! This celebration will really have something for everyone.
- Guilds: Jobs, everyone is worried about jobs. Whatever happens to editing the fields in the dark? The economy is just a trick of how to steal someone's nose, but lately people seem to have seen it through, like when you realize someone hasn't really stolen their nose. Now everyone joins a guild, learns a craft, and works on a masterpiece--a painting so beautiful it dazzles you, or a cheese grater so amazing you'll never eat cheese again. The only people still working the fields are those who do it ironically. The guilds cover it allāironic soil working, butchers, baking, candle making, shoe making, cheese making, cheese destruction. Your consultant is convinced that somehow controlling the stonemasons is the key to world domination. Very good. You will let stone handle so expertly that the world trembles before you.
- This box combines the 5th (Cornucopia) and 8th (Guilds) Dominion expansions. Together they add 26 new Kingdom cards to Dominion. Cornucopia's central theme is diversity, while Guilds has coin tokens that you can save and spend later, and cards to get more out of by paying extra for them. Please note: Dominion: Cornucopia & Guilds cannot be played alone; to play with it, you will need the basic cards and rule book (Dominion offers both).
- Game design: Dominion Cornucopia & Guilds was created by Donald X Vaccarino and artist Jessi J.
